Wow. My top 5 has changed after smoking this smooth full-bodied wonderful cigar. The 5×50 Robusto is made with a Habano Sun Grown wrapper. Nicaraguan binder and Jalapa Valley Ligero filler. It was a full bodied cigar with hints of cedar coffee chocolate and maybe even a touch of nut. The cigar was so complex I analyzed it the entire time I smoked it and was left only wishing it had been a churchhill so I had more time to enjoy and analyze. The burn was a bit uneven but I started out smoking it at the beach on a really windy evening so I will assume this was the main culprit. The draw was perfect and it left me wishing I had another one just like it in my box (though I do have the enourmouse Special V Figurado 6×60 in my box that I’m saving for poker night on my birthday). Overall. I rate the cigar at an impressive A+. I actually think the Double Robusto is the perfect size. I tried on the churchill and it struck me as a little too much of a good thing! I have a Lancero I picked up at RTDA and I’m really curious how that will smoke. When I finally do. I’ll have to make sure to write it up on my blog. Brian thanks for the comment. Yeah the Figurado is nice looking. I enjoy looking at it every time I open my humidor. In fact. I’m thinking about getting another one to hang on to so I don’t feel bad about smoking the one I have! come up... There is not much to create verbally about the Bucanero La Noche Robusto. It is a Bundled cigar made by transfer from cut tobacco. The blend is that of "their finest maduros". And maduro this cigar truly is... The color is nearly that of an Oscuro. And the taste is far too sweet throughout the whole cigar. While this is a quite medium bodied cigar the extremely sweet flavor makes it hard to end the cigar with one sit. I guess this goes well with people who like this type of cigars but i personally prefer more straight forward aroma and taste... What comes to the construction and appeareance of this Robusto they are ok. The bunco filler can be detected through the wrapper which in itself is quite beautiful. The burn is somewhat uneven and the draw is book. All in all i will not buy more of these cigars. Simply not anything come my own taste in cigars.
