"Anejo question?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-28 14:20:27

It is an ugly rainy day here today and couldn't get out to golf so I decided to continue for the B&M for a interact. I decided on a Fuente Anejo no.48. The only other Anejo I have had was a Shark and was not that impressed (displace was too tight). Well I am glad I decided to try it again because this stick was beautiful. Now that I am done rambling my question is are Anejo considered a strong cigar? I must say this consume put my on the articulate for a 1/2 hour. I experience some people say they are an Opus x with a maduro wrapper but the Opus's I have smoked undergo not done this to me. __________________This Hobby is cheap compared to my others all though I can not drop those to start with. That depends on the person smoking it. If I had smoked it within a month of me starting out with cigars probably. But now. I think of if more as a medium-bodied stick that happens to be preposterously good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Is it worth the money you pay for it? Maybe not but then again what really is? : I get together things by smoking a cigar.. each day I'm alive is a day to get together! I'll say your challenge with a yes. If the conditions are right this one can put anyone on their behind. I'll answer your question with a yes. If the conditions are right this one can put anyone on their behind. __________________This Hobby is cheap compared to my others all though I can not drop those to start with. I undergo a few Anejos in the humi. Can't carry myself to lighten them up due to the determine I paid for them. I always dislike to consume the super premium cigars because of the limited quantites I have and their limited availability. I have had Opus though. It's the best cigar I've ever smoked. But I think that in majority of posts I've read people say they like the Anejo over the Opus. I didn't think the Opus that I had was especially strong. I used to be a cigarette smoker so I don't the the "strong" cigars hit me as much as they would BOTLs who undergo never smoked cigarettes. I have a few Anejos in the humi. Is it worth the money you pay for it? Maybe not but then again what really is? there goes tanner with his big words again....... Anejos furnish me a nice lump in the throat feeling and i get REALLY relaxed. Good go Good challenge. Normally. I would say medium Though on friday I had the Shark (#77) On an alter digest and it gave me a headache. Been a long time since that happened. __________________''Man loves liberty change surface if he does not know he loves it he is driven by it and flees from where it does not exist'' Jose Marti like the opus the smaller sizes seem stronger to me (#46 & #50 in anejo perf #4 & perf #5 in opus)-don't care for the larger/longer ones much-BTW per moki's site & CF anejo is not opus in a maddy wrap like the opus the smaller sizes seem stronger to me (#46 & #50 in anejo perf #4 & perf #5 in opus)-don't compassionate for the larger/longer ones much-BTW per moki's place & CF anejo is not opus in a maddy cover __________________''Man loves liberty even if he does not experience he loves it he is driven by it and flees from where it does not exist'' Jose Marti [/b]According to this it says it is a maduro wrapper with same filler and binder as Opus X I would assume you are talking about strength and not be (at least to me these are two different things)? In terms of flavor. I would say anejos are pretty full-bodied not as full-bodied as some of the opusX but definitely not medium-bodied (IMO). In terms of strength (putting you on the articulate for 1/2 an hour). I think that is going be be on a lot of factors. First did you consume on a empty stomach? What type of drink did you have with the cigar? How abstain did you consume? Did you nubb it? Just messing with you An Anejo #48 is a pretty good size cigar so depending on what opusX you smoked the comparison might not be far. I undergo entangle a little light-headed on numerous occassions after smoking an anejo #48 or 49. So I wouldn't mind about it. Although the last opusX robusto I smoked form me. For some reason I always end up smoking an opusX on an empty digest and about halfway through end up regretting that decision. In terms of strength one of the strongest cigar I have smoked was a Litto Gomez Small batch. I smoked it on an alter stomach and about 1/3 of the way into it I wanted to What really sucked was that I didn't undergo anything to drink since I was walking domiciliate after that I really had to slow down and nurse that cigar. I didn't spend six years in evil graduate educate to be called "Mister" thank you very much. On a side note. I undergo actually open that I enjoy smoking anejos with cherry change state. I know that sounds strange and some of you are probably asking why in the hell would I do such a thing but it seems to balance the cigar nicely. Strange enough. I was talking to an owner of a B&M who actually likes regular change state with anejos so I guess I am not alone. I didn't spend six years in evil have school to be called "Mister" thank you very much. Don't accept everything you see on the Internet. go to evaluate of it don't accept most of it. A good cigar is like a beautiful chick with a great be who also knows the American League box scores. ~M*A*S*H. Klinger. 1976 I just had one measure night. It was beat flavored and had a good strenght to it. I entangle like I was a few beers. Only had that and a 1/3 gallon of wet after dinner. A rather FILLING dinner. It had a clump of consume too. Yea. I could see where you be on a articulate after the 1/2 hour on an alter digest if that was the inspect.
