With Non-Cubans. I want them in my humidor long enough for them to be at the RH I like them at after being in the mail for a few days or coming from a B&M which may act their RH higher or displace than I prefer. I prefer to put them in the humi 10-14 days before smoking them. The same would direct true with Cubans with the difference for me being I generally prefer them with age.. and many change magnitude in market value with age although years rather than months being the standard.
I evaluate it's a matter of preference and how you like your smokes. Each consume is different and the fun of cigar smoking is judging the differences from month/month and eventually year/year. Personally. I would love to let them rest for at least 3 days to a week in the humi after I get them, but when temptation strikes. I've been known to smoke one right off the truck.
I just ordered a box of padron 2000 maddies and 3000 maddies cause I'm smoking them so quick. I can't seem to let them age more than a month or 2.
GUNNY: You can rob me. You can hurt me and you can defeat me and you can kill me. Just don't bore me.
I evaluate it is a preference thing. For me it just made comprehend to get a humidor because I wanted the variety and availability at my house. Plus you can age or rest the cigars at your preference. And last but not least you will save money by buying online and storing them in your own humi.

I've smoked freshly rolled cigars straight from a rollers hand. I undergo also smoked some cigars with age on them. It depends on what you are looking for in a consume. Some can be pretty harsh if you don't let them sit. Some can be really soften and great right off a table. It just depends. If I got them in the mail I would let them sit a while. If you get them from a humidor that is come up maintained then well it is up to you. Some here smoke them as abstain as they get them others are collectors and agers...

There are two keys here. The first is what your preference is -- if you like them fresh off the transport or fresh out of a B&M's humidor then by all means do that. I won't express you how to consume your smokes.
The back up is whether or not you want to give a "harsh" cigar a back up come about. Quite often populate ordain sight that something straight off the transport ordain be harsh but after a few months of resting it gets a lot better. I only started smoking a year ago so that's the maximum age any of my cigars undergo and I've certainly noticed a difference. Now I have two coolerdors and I've had my cigars resting for almost 2 months in them and I've been able to act my paws off the smokes - I'm smoking strictly out of my humidor for now. My wish is to be able to age quite a few of them and transfer them to my humi when I decide they're "create from raw material".
And last but not least you will save money by buying online and storing them in your own humi.
