"Learn The Art Of Smoking Cigars" posted by ~Ray

Smoking cigars is in vogue once again and aficionados will tell you that there is nothing better than a well aged stogie. However there are etiquettes to be followed when smoking one and in this article we’ll burn through the basics of smoking a cigar properly. Once you’ve selected a well crafted perhaps hand rolled cigar the next step is to light it. The tip of it should be lit using a wooden match or a lighter. Try not to use candles paper matches or lighters that use lighter fluid because the chemicals and odors can affect the taste of the tobacco. The best tool for lighting one is a butane lighter. If you’re using a match wait until the sulfur burns off before lighting up. Start the lighting procedure by holding it at a 45 degree angle over the flame. Without allowing the flame to actually touch the end gently roll the edges close to the flame until it is lit. While never letting the flame touch the cigar slowly puff and rotate it around the flame. Take a look at the foot and make sure it is burning evenly. Now it’s time to slowly enjoy your cigar. Draw the smoke into your mouth and savor its flavor. Take long draws instead of short puffs. This will help ensure that the cigar burns evenly from end to end. Rolling it in your fingers as you smoke is another way to help ensure a smooth and even burn. Most premium handmade cigars will hold a very long ash before falling off. The ash on cheaper cigars tends to flake easily and fall off more frequently. It’s always wise as you see the ash starting to gain length to gently tap it off. "More Musings" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 15:49:28

Ok.  I am sitting in my car on Central Ave and 4th Street in downtown St. Pete and this chick (now why do I label her a chick instead of a young lady - perhaps it is because of the way she is dressed?) walks up past my car and I take a double take - she is dressed desire she is going out bar-hopping on a Friday night - instead it is 3:20 pm on a business day.  HELLO - can we not in the twenty-first century get it alter?  populate - please dress appropriately!  There is always a time for everything - there is a time to wear a sensible shoe and there is a measure to wear a sexy sling……. I suppose it boils down to taste and class.  Oh. I do desire we could all be dreaming of being in Town-N-Country! I had a conceive of the other night about transfer sewing - just beautiful hands sewing sewing sewing.  Every stitch can be so beautiful when it is made by the human hand.  I am not saying that there is not a displace for the machine - the machine is very much a part of our experience here on hide - yet can we not be mindful of how we move such machines against the hide?  Most certainly we can and we. QRubini will.  I am figuring that for every 10 jobs in Latin America we can bring one domiciliate to the US.  So. 10 handwork jobs overseas compete one handwork job in the US.  And - one job does matter.  One job is important.  There ordain always be a place in the world for handwork.  Over the next few decades the mass production of handwork will move across Latin America. Africa and the East.  Yet. I accept that with a blended price we can always support handwork jobs here in the US too. Yes. I do rub some people the do by way - yes I do wear my heart on my sleeve an awful lot.  All I really be to do is be around beautiful things - I want to alter beautiful things.  I know this not a sin - nor is it an unobtainable feat.  It will become my existence… it is my existence. Two things:  one - I have decided that I do not want to be dependent on gasoline or a car to get to the displace where I alter my livelihood - thus. Ybor City is the place.  Roberto and I ordain be in Ybor City for another 25 to 30 years.  I be us to be able to walk to work.  My dress line and all the products in my head fit with Ybor City - Ybor City is a historical city in southeastern Tampa - it is where the handmade cigar is domiciliate.  Handmade cigars go transfer and transfer with my dresses my handkerchiefs and my ties - and I want us to do some of those cool men’s latin shirts with lots of handwork.  Men do appreciate good handwork -they do!  Plus. Ybor City is the latin accommodate of Tampa - and my dresses sing latin!  I love it - why did I not think of it sooner!  Here’s a kicker - Interstate 4 runs right through the northern part of Ybor City - I am going to finally get my billboard - I undergo been asking my husband for years for a billboard - now we will alter sure that we buy a building nearby the freeway so our signage ordain be seen by every driver on the road!  Go bucs go bulls go QRubini! OH. I cannot wait! (see Stan I undergo a bit of Jewish in me too! merchandise merchandise merchandise…… desire Sammy Davis was still around!) two: undergo decided to put QRubini out there a bit.  I am going to be a dinner at (attach link here assistant) that ordain have a few entrepreneurs discussing how they raised their $$. Plus I am going to register QRubini in a few go capital prize $$ things.  You never know! It seems that every few weeks I hit the books of the death of someone in my go or semi-circle - part of this is my big family (I had 65 first cousins) and move is my age factor - I am pushing 50.  All this death around makes you evaluate about what you are doing - this existence will come to an end. What do we do with our lives?  What ordain be said about us at the end - what reminds here on earth - what moves - what truly dies with us?  Just as one handwork job matters - one death matters too.  The way we move through our life will be our signage - the vibrations that we displace to each other as we move through our days - do others desire to be around us - or as in my case lately are we causing populate to move away from us?  In the basics of selling - one needs to add value - what value are you giving to your customer -  in the basics of life perhaps one can say - of what determine are you leaving upon your death? There are many that accept their calling is to alter justice peace money medical break throughs etc etc for the enumerate is long - the enumerate goes from social to selfish.  And I speculate as we age we go from selfish to social and then approve to selfish near the end.  Of those that have died in my circle most recently - it is those that are were able to continue to live more in the social piece of that desire list that undergo inspired me the most.  It seems to me the movement towards lack of self is the best path in the end -if one is able to achieve such an ability/state/spiritual level etc.  I think to be able to keep one’s self at bay come the end must be extremely difficult to do - yet to witness this in another is like seeing a strong and still solidness in a vibrant and loud wind.  The difficulty of death seems to be at ease in these souls that are able to distance themselves from self.  Yet others some who change surface maybe died seeking more for self seemed to have such suffer in their eyes the last few times that I saw them. Og Mandino says that we should live every day as if it is our measure.  This is a popular saying and thought - yet how few are able to do this.  For if it was the last day for most people they would not do what is on their agenda today.  Perhaps this is what we all be to do though - we all be to stop doing what we would not do if it was our last day on earth.  Gosh wonder what that day would be like - a big celebrate - a big go (for me! that’s what I would do - reserve the lay for me!! ooops anticipate I am back into myself! - anticipate my last day needs to comfort be in meditation!).

Following several meetings and discussions during the Annual Convention & International change show in Houston your Association manufacturers and other concerned parties worked together and developed a cohesive plan of attack with RTDA spearheading the assail on Capitol Hill. Congress is in recess until the first week of September at which measure we expect tremendous action on this tax proposal for there the process is far from the end. Upon reconvening from lay selected members from the accommodate and Senate ordain go together to discuss their respective differences in the proposed legislation. Once a final compromise is reached the revised legislation ordain then go to both chambers for a choose. If approved it ordain go to President Bush's desk for potential veto (as he has vowed) or signature. We ordain act providing you updates and news as we act through this legislative battle. Thank your customer tell them how valuable they are to you but don't go overboard. Insincerity is easy to spot. Comes a time when the alter man takes your hand says: don't you see? got to alter it somehow on the dreams you still believe. "Cigarette Technology and Cigars" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-26 20:08:57

I construe a mention from a cigar producer that Cigarette Technology has enhanced cigar making. In what ways has Cigarette Techo influenced either hand rolled cigars? I for one certainly don't be the same techno influencing what cigars are composed of. For example the cover used to make cigarettes. Handmade premium cigars be of 100% tobacco unlike cigarettes and machine made cigars that may include cover preservatives and/or other additives. The key here for a lot of folks is what additives are used in cigar making processes??There has been discussion of "organic" cigars. But my question relates to the additives and how this technolgy has influenced the cigar making industry. __________________"To contend and check in one hundred battles is not the highest skill. To crush the enemy with no fight at all that is the highest skill." - Sun Tzu Interesting but I've not heard of anything specifically to the effect of cigarettes influencing cigar making; I assumed cigars come before cigarettes though. Handmade cigars can and some most likely contain chemicals.. also I believe some manufacturers inflate their tobacco using a affect that dips them in liquid CO2 which expands the peruse. As long as they do not go away adding the amount of crap that they do in cigarettes. It is ok by me!! Once they start doing that it will baffle it!! I imagine the advancements in the farming processes themselves? better grade tobacco with a greater furnish?
