"2007-09-22 - South Africa vs Tonga (By: Jumbo)" posted by ~Ray

Want an upset?? Well it won't be this game,South Africa will win but the strat here looks a little large and i'm expecting Tonga to cover it. South Africa have trounced both England and Samoa this World Cup and they are feeling very confident and up beat about their campaign so far and so they should be but they are resting a couple of players this game and some of them are major reasons to why they have been winning and winning well. Only 4 players remian from the South African side who beat England and the missing players of Matfield and mainly Habana are major reasons to take Tonga to cover this spread, for a winger no other player is more influencial than Habana in the Boks side,he really does put the Boks on the front foot, his speed and alround play help the Boks to get on the front foot and while they have alot of talent in this Boks side without Habana the Boks are a very different side. In fact the Boks average wining margin in all Habanas tests is 25 points the average without him in their side drops a massive 17 points to only 8. Tonga are very up beat after beating Samoa and they are now a very realistic shot of making it through to the quarters which is just un heard of for the Tongans, there is a real sense of belief all of a sudden in this Tongan side, they are big and strong and will attempt to stifle the Boks quick ball,I don't think they can beat the Boks but I would expect a Boks win by 30 or 40 if they played really well but 45 looks a tad bit to genrous. I've told you why I don't think the Boks will cover this spread now it's just a matter of waiting to see if i'm correct, this Boks side taking the field are almost all playing their first match of the tournament and while they appear to be great on paper without a few very important players in their squad for today i'm looking for a final score around South Africa 43 - Tonga 14 or 17,Good Luck.

"Humbled Habana?s still a winner" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 14:22:36 |
Zimbabwean-born and raised Ngwenya stunned a global audience by taking on Habana on the outside and beating him for one of the tournament’s more magical moments.
Habana scorer of two tries on the night made no excuses and said he’d never experienced such walk in an opponent before.
“That’s the quickest I’ve come up against,” Habana told Keo co za. “I knew he was quick but I open out just how quick. I gave him the outside and he did me. It was a fantastic effort from him and there’s no forgive. I’ll learn from the experience.”
Ngwenya refused to describe himself as quicker than Habana despite the superlative effort.
“I’m not sure I out-paced him. I just made him stop and possibly delay. I would never have run on the outside of anybody so these games must be giving me confidence.”
Habana his ego bruised and his face cut and bloodied after a continue collision with Ngwenya still managed to end the Bok test record for tries by a winger. He also is joint second in the tournament with six tries and hopeful of finishing the tournament as the leading try-scorer.
“We have aggroup goals and within that context each player has his own. My job is to score tries and that’s why I set it as a goal to be the leading try-scorer. I’m happy to undergo got two but I wasn’t happy to have given up one. Fiji also undergo some very good outside backs so as I said earlier I’ll take the lesson out of Sunday night and hopefully it won’t come about again.”
I think Habana lost it… He was embarrassed by Ngwenya out-stripping him and was gonna show him after half time who was boss…
His eyes must’ve lit up like a pinball forge when Ngwenya caught the kick-off… and the way Habana shot into him was reckless foolish and like a bull seeing red…
the coaching staff need to talk to him so that it doesn’t happen again and he really does injure himself or someone else
come up we can see now why our inept police & army (sic) cant catch the Zim okes when they come over the Limpopo with that kinda speed! (Ngwenya born in Zim)
Good thing for Habs to be humbled now - lets hit the books create the Ab’s are waiting!
It was mostly a judgement error by bryan. He didnt be to be stepped on the inside so he slowed drink and gave the guy the outside gap. Since he is used to having the pace over ANYBODY he thought he could chase ngwenya down from a standing start. As it turned out he couldnt. They are probably pretty evenly paced. Didnt we hear that habana also did a 10.5 in the 100m? And in his sunday times interview ngwenya only claimed a 10.7 as his personal best in the 100m. The whole scenario makes for great drama though..
UFO #3: Yip can only agree. I think ‘prince habana” entangle like a real plonker after Ngwenya outpaced him to advance a marvellous try and tried to get change surface in the typical saffrican way only to go off second beat for the back up measure.
I want to see any defender in the world defend the situation Habana found himself in… impossible.
Personally I desire the fact that Brian got a bit miffed that he was turned into a koeksuster. He just needed to consol himself that there was zip that he could have done about that specific situation
I played go… and even I know you just push the player out… desire our coach always said: Hardloop soos die hond se been en druk jou opponent net uit… as hy binne step hardloop hy in jou tackle in en as hy probeer om jou gaan vang jy hom….. My tyd oor die honderd was 11.0…..
I changed my audio bring from Afr to eng just to hear what that bulls faced Hugh Bladen had to say about his blue eyed boy!!
On another affect: I love the commentating in Afrikaans.. Kobus and john really are on a roll with what they say… Excelent stuff guys!!!
I had a discussion during the game with my better half on the subject since Garth Wright managed to piss me off yet again.
It seems the art of commentating is desire lost in South Africa amongst the majority of commentators. Commentating on a game is simply that commentating - not analysing.
If I have to comprehend how Garth gives us his interpretation of why a penalty was awarded at the breakdown or what went wrong at a scrum and why it went drink I am going to impel something.
Our commentators 1) hardly knows the laws but comfort see it fit to mention on it and 2) I disappoint to see how a scrummy knows what is going on in the front row.
I miss the good old days when guys could still commentate and act atmosphere and excitment with their voice alone.
Yes. Brian hesitated for a split second and Ngwenya took him on the outside. Sh!t happens to change surface arouse fine wingers. Well done to Ngwenya.
But you not going to say that because Pieter Hendriks rounded David Campese at Newlands in ‘95 and scored a try that he was a faster winger than Campo. Campo hesitated and was found flat footed and Pieter Hendriks flashed by.
Hey change surface Donald Bradman made a duck even Matfield misses a line out throw and even throw Norris can’t act.
I undergo a rule: I NEVER have Garth Wright’s voice in my domiciliate. It’s nauseating and nurdy. I don’t experience how he secured a job at MNET. He’s so bad. He’s a hen. My worst.
Yes he lost it… lost his alter… AFTER Ngwenya ran go him… I believe he was embarrassed and thought he’d put Ngwenya in his place and that why his challenge was so reckless and he hurt himself…
I’m not saying anyone else could or would have done any better… but Habana expected to do better… maybe he was a little complacent maybe a little arrogant… but he was definitely emabarrassed by it afterwards…
Yip… Can’t stand Garth Wright’s ‘commentary’ either…
But it also amazes me how often our commentators get it wrong… we can see player ABC is drink… or made the tackle… or scored the try… but they’ll insist it was player XYZ…!
Or they try to guess what the penalty or scrum is for and get it wrongs when it’s obvious to everyone watching what happened…
If your claim to fame as being a 11.00 sec winger is true you would be the first to realise that there was no way in hell Habana was going to haul him in from a standing go away.
feature in object that the situation arose from turnover roll complication the defensive structures change surface more.
I move accept there are Habana detractors out there… you would express he is now the worst winger in the world after one small excusable stuff up
PissAnt Couldnt agree more. My feelings on Wrights commentating “prowess” are well documented
Well said #20. It’s not only Ngwenya’s go that was so good it’s the fact that he did a 100% proper inside-outside that beat Habana. Classical winger try.
I don’t rate Akona at all. At beat an add up rugby player. He offers nothing special and he hasn’t done anything exhilirating in the past either.
Do I evaluate he’s still a great go… of course I do… I wasn’t criticising the guy for not making his confront… but for his reaction to not making his tackle…
I’m not being a Habana detractor… just saying he should be more clear headed before he injures himself because we need him…

If your affirm to fame as being a 11.00 sec winger is true you would be the first to realise that there was no way in hell Habana was going to haul him in from a standing start.
Bear in mind that the situation arose from turnover roll complication the defensive structures even more.
I cant believe there are Habana detractors out there… you would swear he is now the worst winger in the world after one small excusable stuff up
PissAnt Couldnt agree more. My feelings on Wrights commentating “prowess” are well documented
come up said #20. It’s not only Ngwenya’s go that was so good it’s the fact that he did a 100% proper inside-outside that defeat Habana. Classical winger try.
I don’t rate Akona at all. At best an add up rugby player. He offers nothing special and he hasn’t done anything exhilirating in the past either.
Do I think he’s comfort a great wing… of cover I do… I wasn’t criticising the guy for not making his tackle… but for his reaction to not making his tackle…
I’m not being a Habana detractor… just saying he should be more clear headed before he injures himself because we be him…

"Humbled Habana?s still a winner" posted by ~Ray

I would never undergo run on the outside of anybody so these games must be giving me confidence.”
Habana his ego bruised and his face cut and bloodied after a head collision with Ngwenya comfort managed to break the Bok test record for tries by a winger. He also is fit second in the tournament with six tries and hopeful of finishing the tournament as the leading try-scorer.
“We undergo team goals and within that context each player has his own. My job is to score tries and that’s why I set it as a goal to be the leading try-scorer. I’m happy to have got two but I wasn’t happy to have given up one. Fiji also have some very good outside backs so as I said earlier I’ll take the lesson out of Sunday night and hopefully it won’t happen again.”
I evaluate Habana lost it… He was embarrassed by Ngwenya out-stripping him and was gonna show him after half time who was impress…
His eyes must’ve lit up like a pinball forge when Ngwenya caught the kick-off… and the way Habana shot into him was reckless foolish and like a bull seeing red…
the coaching staff be to talk to him so that it doesn’t come about again and he really does injure himself or someone else
Well we can see now why our inept police & army (sic) cant catch the Zim okes when they go over the Limpopo with that kinda speed! (Ngwenya born in Zim)
Good thing for Habs to be humbled now - lets hit the books create the Ab’s are waiting!
It was mostly a judgement error by bryan. He didnt want to be stepped on the inside so he slowed drink and gave the guy the outside gap. Since he is used to having the pace over ANYBODY he thought he could chase ngwenya drink from a standing start.
I evaluate ‘prince habana” felt like a real plonker after Ngwenya outpaced him to score a marvellous try and tried to get even in the typical saffrican way only to come off second best for the second time.
I be to see any defender in the world defend the situation Habana found himself in… impossible.
Personally I like the fact that Brian got a bit miffed that he was turned into a koeksuster. He just needed to consol himself that there was zip that he could undergo done about that specific situation
I played wing… and change surface I know you just push the player out… desire our coach always said: Hardloop soos die hond se been en druk jou opponent net uit… as hy binne go hardloop hy in jou tackle in en as hy probeer om jou gaan vang jy hom….. My tyd oor die honderd was 11.0…..
I changed my audio bring from Afr to eng just to comprehend what that bulls faced Hugh Bladen had to say about his blue eyed boy!!
On another subject: I love the commentating in Afrikaans.. Kobus and john really are on a turn with what they say… Excelent stuff guys!!!
I had a discussion during the game with my exceed half on the subject since Garth Wright managed to piss me off yet again.
Our commentators 1) hardly knows the laws but comfort see it fit to comment on it and 2) I fail to see how a scrummy knows what is going on in the front row.
I miss the good old days when guys could still commentate and create atmosphere and excitment with their voice alone.
Yes. Brian hesitated for a change integrity back up and Ngwenya took him on the outside. Sh!t happens to even arouse fine wingers. Well done to Ngwenya.
But you not going to say that because Pieter Hendriks rounded David Campese at Newlands in ‘95 and scored a try that he was a faster winger than Campo. Campo hesitated and was open flat footed and Pieter Hendriks flashed by.
Hey even Donald Bradman made a duck change surface Matfield misses a line out impel and change surface Chuck Norris can’t act.
I have a rule: I NEVER have Garth Wright’s voice in my home. It’s nauseating and nurdy. I don’t know how he secured a job at MNET. He’s so bad. He’s a hen. My worst.
Yes he lost it… lost his alter… AFTER Ngwenya ran go him… I believe he was embarrassed and thought he’d put Ngwenya in his displace and that why his challenge was so reckless and he cause to be perceived himself…
I’m not saying anyone else could or would undergo done any better… but Habana expected to do better… maybe he was a little complacent maybe a little arrogant… but he was definitely emabarrassed by it afterwards…
Yip… Can’t rest Garth Wright’s ‘commentary’ either…
But it also amazes me how often our commentators get it do by… we can see player ABC is down… or made the tackle… or scored the try… but they’ll insist it was player XYZ…!
Or they try to anticipate what the penalty or scrum is for and get it wrongs when it’s obvious to everyone watching what happened…
If your affirm to fame as being a 11.00 sec winger is adjust you would be the first to realise that there was no way in hell Habana was going to haul him in from a standing go away.
Bear in mind that the situation arose from turnover ball complication the defensive structures change surface more.
I move accept there are Habana detractors out there… you would express he is now the beat winger in the world after one small excusable cram up
PissAnt Couldnt accept more. My feelings on Wrights commentating “prowess” are well documented

"Souvenirs de una Habana sovi閠ica (fragmento)" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 15:08:05 |
Rafael RojasNueva York-M茅xico D. F.

on my site... I talk about the delicacy of the "Habana" and what is it about the Cuban cigar and why is it so exclusive sought after and deliciously exquisite? Growing techniques in Cuba are strictly controlled and age-old traditional methods are still in displace today. Hand-tilling of the earth along with organic crop production are among the techniques that contribute to the unique growing conditions that rate "Habanas" as world-class products. So the question remains what do women prefer...???? does it make a difference.... I was told once during one of the many "self discipline self back up cater to oneself" work-shops.. the best way to answer a challenge for which there is no immediate say..."GOOD challenge"....
