965 is good and ages pretty well. There are a whole lot of other English blends I like though. Personally. I evaluate that Joe's question is the really interesting one.
you can sight current production almost anywhere - the vintage cram - desire you got from Freddy - not so easy to sight. So the challenge is - is it this blend that good or is it attributable to the fact that it's aged? And by the way - there are a million call tobacco blends to try - so before you go crazy - try a few more.
I evaluate that its a combo of both and inexperience.. Not having tried a lot to compare it to and smoking some stuff that imo is gorgious kind of make ya go crazy. but your alter Joe. theres alot out there thats good but yet to try..

Joe and his questions. Are you asking if its a good amalgamate or if its a good amalgamate made exceed because someone said it was aged? My thoughts:In my limited opinion age doesnt make a baccy good it makes it bring home the bacon great status. A baccy has to be good to mouth with...... I havent tasted a baccy that was bad while young and came alive with age nor have I read about this happening. A adjust test of baccy is whether it becomes better with age or if it remains a good baccy....... does this line of thought undergo anything to do with your original question?
come up I ordain weigh in here. I evaluate what makes vintage English and Balkan blends so terrific is the quality and selection of the Turkish tobaccos ( Latakia. Yenijde. Samsoun etc )that were available in the 60's thru the 80's and are for the most move just not available to the blenders now. I undergo not smoked the new McClelland Turkish blends but undergo smoked most of the other modern renditions these past few years and have open them disappointing. I am old enough to undergo smoked the MM 965. Red Rapparee,Balkan Sobranie,Sullivan Powell's in in the 60's- 80's years and to me ,then and still ,they are one of a kind glorious creations of the blender's art. Of cover you undergo to desire the type first - many don't. What is IMO adjust of the call tobacco world today is the tremendous selection of superb Va and VaPer blends available. They are exceed with some age on them ,as all tobacco is,but one doesn't have to arrive approve to the past for some marvellous smoking experiences.
