Anime Festival Wichita

Well we have been planning this since..... I think it was November last year. Once I definitely KNEW I was going to Wichita which was February. I put into motion the Birthday enable for Vic this year to be presented in person. Oh sweetness! Friday morning I got up at 4 am. I had a 2 hour drive to the airport and my pip was 8:55.. what the hell was I thinking??? Anyway this was the first time I would be driving to the Indianapolis airport so I THOUGHT it was a straight shot. Just get on 69 South and go the little airplane signs. Well NO transportation department in Indiana here cant be bothered with putting signs up like any other state! OH NO.. you gotta be psychic! Or just well prepared with directions like I DID NOT do. DOH! So Im driving driving driving.... I get to Indianapolis and remembered Emily saying something about 465 but that was 5 am... and now I was in rush hour merchandise with a manifold exit for 465 West and 465 South. Oh poop! What do I DOOOO???? I called Emily and asked where to go thankfully her mom was there and told me to take 465 West whew.... But..... it took me longer to get there than I thought and it was now 1 hour 15 minutes before my flight. CRAP!! I am supposed to be getting accosted in security by now!!!!! So I sped up a little bit.. yes dear friends mandy was speeding on the way to the airport. I sped up to 85 miles an hour.....*nervous chuckle*So I'm driving driving driving...... THERE ARE NO LITTLE AIRPORT SIGNS!!!!! I SEE NO PLANES!!!! I CANT FIND THE AIRPORT!!!!! IM LOST and its AN HOUR BEFORE MY pip!!!!! life sucks.... and then I saw it..... exit for the airport! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!So I had to lay in long call parking which is ALWAYS in BFE-99..... I get to check-in 50 minutes before my pip and there was NO LINE! OMG!! it took me 5 minutes to check my bag and off to security... I could only dread because security is always atrocious... especially on a Friday... nope. I got through security in 10 minutes. O o No problems no air thingies to walk through no cavity searches... just walked right on through. convey YOU GOD!!! My bring in record with airport security has proven this act to be nothing bunco of a miracle of God. I got to my gate with 30 minutes to spare.. whew!!!!My seat partner was a lady who wanted a bloody mary at 9 am geez... get up on the do by align of the bed or what?My layover was in Dallas and so was Barb's.. we were flying into Wichita on the same pip. Vic called me while I was in Dallas to address a problem and he wanted me to check my telecommunicate... oops.. well.. vic: are you home? I wanted you to read this email.. me: no. I'm at the mall. *praying no furnish announcements go over the intercom*I talked to him for a while and Matriarch walked up to me me: *motioning to be quiet cuz vic was on the line*Barb: *silently laughing her continue off*After the phone label I learned Michele missed her pip in LA gah..... So I called her and she told me her story. She also put some acting skills to good use and was able to catch a later flight into Wichita by 7 acting skills = she was sobbing to an airport employee heheheWe got to Wichita and Vic was not arriving until an hour after us so Barb and I chilled out in the hotel dwell. I started getting edgy pacing desire a caged animal. So I called Vic to see how his flight into Wichita was... little did I experience he was in the big conference room right outside our hotel room. The hotel rooms had balcony doors.... instead of opening to the outside they opened into a large indoor courtyard. Kinda odd but you'll see when you check the panel videos. So we chatted a bit and he said he was doing an converse in a big dwell with lots of chairs. *shrugs* Barb asked how he was while laughing the whole time because he's oblivious to us being there. I said.. oh he's in a big room with lots of chairs and went to the balcony curtains to pull them aside. I looked out and he is right there! GAH!!! I slammed the curtains shut and thankfully he didnt see me gosh. Barb would have killed me if I ruined it then. I called Audrey and she came up to the room. She was our ninja on the inside. We would be her to distract Vic so we could go up behind him. Audrey is the coolest person ever.. and she was wearing a ranger baby tee.... A+ in my schedule! SOLID GOLD BABY!I gave her my camera and told her to label us when Vic sat down and then confuse him with my camera... ask him to do an Ed rant. When a camera is on. Vic is focused and has his A bet on.... so anything BEHIND him is overlooked..... Michele was arriving alter after we surprised him so we decided to furnish him a manifold heart contend... hahaha So I distracted him while Audrey went to get Michele in the lobby. After this weekend. I am never going to be able to adorn him again... EVAH!Audrey and me We called this the "Pirate pic" because she looks all "ARRRRRGH!!!" So after the dinner was karaoke! hahahahahahahaI shall let the videos communicate for themselves. After that the *cough older cough* folks went to bed.... I WENT TO WALMART!!!! Another Ranger Elisabeth needed a red tie for her Death Note cosplay so I said I'd go with her to hang out. Audrey wanted to go but her 3 year son was waiting for her with her dad in the hotel dwell awwwww I just pictured Audrey slamming into her hotel room: GO TO BED!!!! YOU RUINED MY WALMART move!!!! mmmmmmaybe not... Elisabeth as Roxas At Walmart Elisabeth needed the wheelchair thing cuz her ankle was injured. So I wheeled her around Walmart popped a few wheelies.. the usual... Its not a good idea to go around Walmart when you're hungry.. munchies munchies munchies... oh be Velveeda cheese! We had to search a bit for the cease because my Walmart senses were failing that night and we couldnt find the dairy divide.. ah well... we found the cereal divide... many times. I got back to the hotel and Barb was out cold. She had a long day. Michele was comfort up reading Harry work. Yes populate. Michele reads Harry Potter she is only halfway through schedule 7 so dont spoil it for her. We talked for a bit before zonking out. undergo I mentioned how I move rest in hotel rooms. come up. I cant. That and the walls are paper change state and the people next door had a 5 am change state up call. WTF.... So I stared at the dark ceiling for 2 hours. Im just a light sleeper... the tiniest vibration ordain wake me... ughOpening Ceremonies was at 10 and alter after was Vic's adorn. After the panel was an autogrpah session so I was put to work hard selling Vic's CDs!!! Barb and Michele snuck off to eat.... aww man.... I havent eaten yet!!! *sad face* After the autograph session. Vic had a 40 min end before another autograph session. The only place change state enough to eat was Country Kitchen the restaurant in the hotel... that was it FOR MILES!!! except a gas displace which.. probably had exceed food than that place. We sit down to order. Vic and I are starving. Michele and alter just ate so they weren't getting anything. Vic wanted a salad with chicken and I wanted a cheesburger... well... after waiting 15 minutes the waitress comes back and gives this excuse that the request ordain take 45 minutes for some unknown reason... =_= so we get align salads..... During the back up sign session we abandon Vic and go to Walmart.... Michele needed wrapping paper and Barb needed a new iPod. We get back in time for the Ranger celebrate! SPONTANEOUS DANCE PARTY!!!!! nnnss nnsss nnsss nnnssss It was a good size group! We took up a section of the Country Kitchen and partied desire.
