"machine made cigar reviews (AyC grenaders light, Dutch Masters ..." posted by ~Ray

Well. I know almost everyone that visits this newsgroup is a Cigar snob and don't get me wrong... I love a Fuentes every now and again but my wallet won't let me enjoy them everyday. So for the most part I'll smoke a Curly head or..... Gasp! I'll go to my local machine made stick seller and pick up the latest box of goodness. Today. I smoked two of my favorites. An AyC Grenadier light and a Dutch Master "Masters Collection"First the AyC. Its green! You don't come across many light skinned smokes anymore. Most are natural or maduro. But not this one. Its a ugly looking little stick with veins visible in the wrapper. I light it up. Hmmm.... The smell is unique to this brand spicy but the smoke is not heavy at all light on the lips not at all bad. I smoke it over the course of 3 pilsner beers and I must say they work well together. Complementing each other without overwhelming the taste of the other. Over all I give this Cigar a 7 on a scale of 1-10 (this scale is JUST for machine made cigars so keep that in mind.) Next up is the Dutch Master cigar. Is a natural wrapper chocolate it color and much prettier then the AyC. The cigar is a bit bigger the the AyC. I think its a 50 ring. So. I get the other 3 beers and sitting out in the back yard. I light it up. The smell is.. not there. Not spicy not strong not anything. Its just smoke. I take a few puffs. Its good! I was worried that it would be harsh but its not its a light slightly sweet smoke. About 1/2 into it. I have to look at the box again to make sure this isn't a better quality cigar. I'm liking it and as with the AyC its not overwhelming the taste of my back yard beer. I've got to say I can't believe I've never tried one of these before. I'll be getting it again for sure. I give it a 9 on the same scale as before 1 being the worst and 10 being a perfect cigar (for a machine made! )So there it is. I hope you enjoyed it. I did. I do have a favor to ask... If there are others out there that do or have smoked some machine made cigars and your not just going to bash it to be "cool" please post up a review or 2. Thanks and I'll follow up with other reviews as I smoke them..
