In the TV cupboard in the van there is a cigar lighter type socket does anyone know where to purchase plugs to fit? Tried Maplins but they don't have them. Any ideas please. Thanks,Jan

Thanks for the replies.. JQL. already tried Halfords no luck. Followed the cerebrate but not sure about the size as a normal cigar transport coat is too big for the sockets in our van. The diameter of our sockets is about half the coat of a standard cigar transport. Wupert. good idea will try some MH retailers when we next get the opportunity. We're off to Southport on Sunday so we should pass some along the way. Regards,Jan

Hi JanIt's one of a Hella close extensively used on European M/Hs much better than the standard cigar lighter plugs. Most go dealers have them.

Hi Myrtle. Bought one today in my local Caravan obtain cost £6.95. Already tried it and it works. Ian
Thanks again. I've bought one off ebay thanks Gaspode. I did try to buy one from caravans on lie but the place is having probs with card transactions (well it won't accept any of mine
). I'll try again later as we've got a couple of these sockets so we'll be more plugs at some inform. Many thanks again to all who replied this place is brilliant for novices like us it's amazing what I hit the books by just browsing. I've just realised from reading another affix why our windscreen doesn't demist - apparently it could be something to do with the heating system being switched over to cab heating
You should get them at any caravan dealer. They were used by most british go manufacturers and some still use them. Much exceed than the horrible cigar lighter plugs.
