"Labels and Cello on, Cello off" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-09-25 01:23:03

Come here and herf. Then we can put pretty labels on all my cigars... Great post Kenny! I've "heard" that those tissue wrapped sticks are easier to get lit if you just leave the paper on and light it instead. Seems to take right off! Seriously though. I wish I could be as meticulous as you are because I am bad about tossing sticks in the humi without any labels whatsoever. I can't remember when I got them and am constantly having to look sticks up online to identify the particulars of them. Kenny... My Dad could go one-up on your analism... He actually keeps a computer database on the cigars that I gift him including remarks on flavor body etc. What can I say? He's an 82-year-old "geek!"I myself use the Neanderthal System... A red "Sharpie," marking month and year on the cello. When rummaging through the coolerdors this leaves me in a express of "organized chaos," which I find rather appealing. I love surprises!! Thanks for the post Kenny. I'm using labels from Heartfelt. You gave me some ideas though. I don't know if I have the time for tissue cover though. Great Post. I think I am going to have to consider doing that. When I received my trade from rockyr it made identifying the sticks all that easier. Many of you have gotten bombs from me or gifts and have asked me to post this info many times but Ive been lazy so here it finally is. It may be a little bit of overkill but its what I do I have seen your handiwork Kenny. I think it is great - more of a connoisseur labeling method than "anal". IMO. I usually label boxes with dates and vitola using a p-touch. Good and/or expensive cigars may get their own label as well. Other than that. I try to arrange stogies according to date but I dont label the individual stogies - yet. If only I had more time! Fightin' killin'.. wine and women... Gonna put me to my graveRunnin' hidin'.. losin' cryin'... Nothing left to save... BUT MY LIFE! cool idea that is a perfect size label will hafta look for them thanks for the tip although i gotta say i'm not crazy about the tissue paper idea i'd be worried about it soaking up some of the oils/moisture/flavor from the cigar but i'm probably just a bit anal i change surface take off those annoying cedar sleeves when possible cool idea that is a perfect size label will hafta look for them thanks for the tip although i gotta say i'm not crazy about the tissue paper idea i'd be worried about it soaking up some of the oils/moisture/flavor from the cigar but i'm probably just a bit anal i even take off those annoying cedar sleeves when possible Well like I said. Im lazy so not all get done but most of the naked ones do. I dont worry about them soaking up any oils they dont usually stay in the humi long enough And Richard. I think Steve is right. I dont have enough vacation time to label all of yours __________________I'm not talking to myself. I'm just answering the voices in my head. Nice post and explanation. I knew there had to be a more "organized" way. Authorized Presenter of the Blue Falcon allocate 22 year Retired Army-Proudly still supporting our warfighters as Dept of Army Civilian Man. I could use your services. I tried turning the gf on to organizing cigars and she fired herself. Now it's just me and I'm fat and lazy. I did use 3 or 4 of my 1000 cigar bands so at least I'm on my way. Oh. I got some Fonseca's that are wrapped in tissue paper right from the factory. I don't know what kind they are cause I didn't attach them but I could find out if I dig around. Copyright © TOP 25 CIGAR & CLUB STOGIE. COM All rights reserved Winnipeg. Manitoba. Canada
