Well. I just had my first CAO America cigar the 6.25″ Monument. Now everyone knows that it took a while for me to become a CAO fan but once the Brazillia was out. I was hooked. I’ve been through the Italia the MX and the CX but always came back to the Brazillia. What a fantastic cigar. Imagine my disappointment with my first America cigar. Although CAO rates this as a Full Bodied cigar. I thought that the MX2 had the full body taste of this line. The cigar burned uneven which gave it some of the bitter taste. Although other reviews said the cigar had a tough time staying lit. I did not experience this problem. The striped wrapper was unique but somewhat uneven. I’m not sure if this was on purpose but it made me wonder if it contributed to the so-so taste of the cigar. On the positive side the draw on this cigar was great. A mouth full of smoke on each draw. The taste remained constant down to the label. The cost of the cigar ($6.25 - $6.75) is certainly in a good range.
